We believe a landscape should get better every year — not just look good on day one. That means choosing the right plants for the place, building on solid ground, and caring for what we plant long after the truck pulls away.

Our story
From a small garden center to a regional team of 90
Mark Pendergast, a plant and soil science graduate with a love of landscaping, settles his family on the banks of the Salmon Falls River and opens a small retail garden center in Berwick, Maine.
The company adds residential design and installation, and Mark begins purchasing land for what becomes Salmon Falls Nursery — now 200 acres of trees and shrubs.
Commercial services, irrigation, and landscape maintenance divisions join the mix, making commercial work the largest part of the business.
A team of 90 designs, builds, and cares for landscapes across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts — with Mark still involved day to day.
